Maggie McKenna

Maggie McKenna is an Analyst at Wirk Consulting – supporting all aspects of client engagements from proposal development, data analysis and reporting, session preparation and delivery, to follow up.

Maggie’s academic journey at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria has provided her with a solid foundation in commerce and entrepreneurship, further supported by hands-on experience during co-op terms. Her previous co-op experience focused on sustainable agriculture, teaching her farming techniques and eco-friendly business practices. This exposure expanded her understanding of eco-conscious business operations and fueled her passion for promoting sustainability. Beyond her studies, Maggie served as the Social Media Director for Found off The Grid at the University of Victoria, a club dedicated to getting more students outdoors, where she fine-tuned her skills in digital communication, engagement strategies, and content creation. This role strengthened her ability to connect, expand, and engage with community in support of an important cause.

This blend of academic and real-world experience has equipped Maggie with a comprehensive skill set that she is keen to apply in the consulting world. Her approach is characterized by enthusiasm for her work, a commitment to excellence, and a readiness to tackle the challenges ahead with innovative solutions.
